Mobile Booklets are ebooks available as EPUB ebooks and java midlets. EPUB ebooks are viewable on a wide variety of ebook readers, iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad and Android phones. Java midlets can be installed and viewed on most java enabled Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Motorola, Samsung or LG mobile phones.

EPUB ebooks creation added to MobileBooklet.com

MobileBooklet.com now supports creating EPUB ebooks. EPUB is a free and open e-book standard by the International Digital Publishing Forum (IDPF). This is the same format used by the Apple iPad. It's supported by a host of different ebook readers.


Offline RSS Feed Reader

There's a beta test version of an offline RSS Feed Reader available over at http://www.jarss.com. This offline rss feed reader packages multiple rss feeds into a single java app download. Currently, BBC News and Guardian rss feed readers are available and are refreshed periodically.

The mobile web version of MobileBooklet is up and running at http://www.mobilebooklet.com/mobile/. The web pages are optimized for small screen web browsers on mobile phones.

To download booklets, you'll need to login using Facebook Connect for Mobile Web using your phone's default web browser.

How To Install?

Mobile booklets are ebooks in java app format for your java enabled cell phone.

You install these ebooks just like an other java app or games on your cell phone.

  1. Download the jar file to your PC.
  2. Transfer the jar file to your phone using bluetooth, usb cable or copying it to your phone storage memory card.
  3. Install the jar file on your phone.

  1. Download the jar file using your phone's built-in web browser.
